Chatsworth house interior
Yesterday I posted an image of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire taken from the gardens. Today I’m posting a wide angel view of the interior of the house taken at high ISO with my Pentax K5.
One of the biggest problems taking photos in the interior of stately homes is that they are generally very dark and don’t normally allow the use of flash to take pictures. Because of this you basically have to turn the ISO on the camera very high to get any sort of picture which leaves the noise level at very high levels. Fortunately, even though it is no longer a new camera, the K5 has a pretty good noise level at high ISO, but even so the picture above is pretty noisy.
