Emma
This is a picture of my Daughter Emma taken on a holiday in Norfolk in August 2011. We were on the North Norfolk Steam Railway and I called to her as she was looking from the window. She turned and I got this shot which I think is nice because she kept a natural look. By contrast my Son James always puts on a ‘posed’ look when I have a camera so doesn’t photograph as well!
I used a Tamron 70-300mm Macro Zoom set to 70mm fitted to a Pentax K-r DSLR. The picture was taken in RAW and post processed using Lightroom 4 where I softened the background slightly by dropping the clarity a small amount.
