Favourite pictures – The lake at Raby Castle
This is a picture I took at Raby Castle in the North East of England when we were on holiday there a couple of years ago.
It was a cloudy period of the day and I liked the way the clouds add a moody atmosphere to the picture and also the balance that the shape of the algae growing at the front of the lake makes with the shape of the lake. This was taken with my Pentax K-5 fitted with the Sigma 18-125 HSM lens which I normally had fitted to that camera as the standard zoom.
