St Giles church, Codicote
These are some pictures of St Giles church in Codecote in Hertfordshire which I took during a trip out with my Daughter Emma one day in January.
I took a trip out to this Church in January 2012, armed with my Pentax k-r and Tamron 10-24mm Super Wide Angle lens. It was a dull and grey day, but fortunately not wet and I was able to get several shots of this attractive old church. Emma came with me and she also took some pictures with her camera, so it was an entertainment for her as well as a photo opportunity for me.
According to wikipedia, the church was completed sometime between 1108 & 1115.

Beautiful old church. Well preserved . I think that it was good that day was dull and gray so it add to the mood . Well done photos.
Thank you
Very nice series and beautiful church: I love the detail of the sheep in the graveyard!
Thanks very much
Well done, Sir. These are all quite breathtaking, and inspiring.
Thanks for that
Very nice churchyard and well-captured shots. I particularly like the wintery trees against the sky and the bemused sheep in the cemetery. The headstones also make the shots intriguing.
Thank you
