Upton House National trust property
The National Trust own houses and gardens all over the United Kingdom, and when we were recently on holiday in Oxfordshire we visited several of their properties. This short post is written to include some of the pictures I took at one of the visits we made – Upton House in Warwickshire.
We were once again fortunate with the weather and had a nice, bright sunny day for our trip. After an uneventful journey and having parked the car, we had a short introductory tour around some of the building, and also watched a video explaining a bit about the family who lived in the house before it came into National Trust ownership.
Once we were therefore slightly better informed, we had a walk around the gardens and I took a few pictures before we had a more extensive exploration of the house.
Many of these pictures were taken with my current favourite lens/camera combination of Samyang 12mm and Fuji X-T1 and all the pictures were taken in RAW, imported into Lightroom and given very minor tweaks to exposure before being exported as jpeg images for this post.
